note:
as seen in the photographs, ton of fishes with poor handling method. fishermen unload and sort their goods on wharf while people move along around them. this photographs shows that indonesia’s fisheries need improvement on fish handling method in order to produce better qualities of fisheries products. i think an adequate loading and sorting building may helpful, also some international standard of fisheries goods should applied here.
On the other side, the fishing port have an infrastructure development program which declared by a master plan to bring the port into international level by its goods, services, operations and maintenance. It takes time to build and to introduce the infrastructure as planned, but we shall see the impacts sooner or later.
